Lithium Battery Technology Performs Better than expected under Extensive Discharge/Charge Conditions

A new study produced by Carnegie Mellon show that Lithium battery technology performs over time better than has been previously suggested. The cumulative effects of deep discharge on several lithium battery chemistry types from both normal vehicle usage discharge and Vehicle-to-Grid discharge over 2000 test cycles was evaluated.

China and Buffet Enter the Race for Electric Car Technology
